Claire Surman who will be singing the title role has recently been singing Gilda in Rigoletto for Kentish Opera. Claire used to live in Northampton and was from 1996 to 1999 the Head of Psychology and Sixth Form Manager at the Campion School in Bugbrooke before embarking on her very successful operatic career.
